ASI Orlando 2025: Highlights & Takeaways
The start of a new year offers a chance to inspire your clients’ marketing campaigns with new and exciting product trends. At the ASI Show Orlando 2025 hundreds of exhibitors presented a wide variety of items, demonstrating that the promo market continues to grow and evolve. Amongst the hundreds of supplier attendees showcasing their latest products, there were some that stood out. Below is a highlight of our favorite products from this year’s show that distributors can include in their offerings for 2025.
The Never Ending Well
The drinkware market share has grown in five of the last six years, making it the hottest product category of the past decade. This may lead you to think that the market has been saturated and there’s little to no room for growth - but that’s where you’re wrong! The social media-fueled demand for drinkware has reignited the interest in drinkware and is likely to continue as consumers prioritize healthy habits and sustainability. At this year’s show, we noticed that suppliers are placing their bets on what they believe will be the next Stanley. The focus seems to be on capacity with many options capable of holding 40 oz or more, along with a variety of lids to fit different lifestyles.
Connectivity
Another theme worth highlighting at this year’s show was the emphasis on connectivity. Suppliers explored new ways to integrate technology into promotional products, allowing advertisers to reach smartphone users and tech-savvy individuals. Similar to the concept of QR codes, we are now seeing apparel with built-in near-field communication (NFC) chips that users can tap with their phones to pull up a web page. These can be supplied by customers and further customized using our decoration services to achieve a one-of-a-kind product. The future of promo suggests that these chips can be built into a number of everyday products like coffee cups, mousepads, and tote bags.
Breaking the Mould
While notebooks and pens are a go-to for schools and financial institutions, you can also try an out-of-the-box approach when it comes to pitching products to your customers. Industry-specific products are a great choice for promoting a brand at work, but what happens when those end-users go home at the end of the day? Remembering that recipients have personal lives with hobbies and particular tastes can help advertisers build more meaningful connections with their audience. Homeware and kitchen products are ideal for anyone celebrating an employee barbecue or appreciation event, regardless of their industry.
These are only some of the takeaways from this year’s show that should serve as an inspiration for your client's upcoming marketing campaigns. Take these themes into consideration when building out your offers, and ensure your lineup includes a variety of products from this list as they are expected to be trending throughout the year.
